Pricing policies & Pickups
My kittens are meant for pet homes, and their prices reflect that. But rights for breeding and show are possible for a higher fee and with a breeder contract. Otherwise our standard contract comes with a spay/neuter clause.
The pricing of my kittens is determined by the quality, size, Bloodlines, the coloring of the kitten and the pedigree of the parents. silver shaded, black smoke, polydactyl and male kittens are our highest in demand from our cattery and the rarest to have born, so in turn their fee is higher.
All of our kittens are sold with a contract, With reference to our health guarantee, spay and neuter policies, and home and health requirements for our kittens. We are happy to email a blank copy for review, there is no exception to this. The contract is there to protect our kittens, yourself as the buyer, and us as the breeder.
To start the process you can fill out an application on a specific available kitten/kittens your interested in. If we dont currently have a kitten that fits what your looking for you can fill out an application to be added to our waitlist for a kitten with the color and gender of your preferance.
Once approved for a kitten a reservation fee/deposit is required to hold a kitten. The fee is $400 and can be paid through venmo, paypal, cash app, zelle, apple pay or an invoice. Any extra fees associated with these apps are the buyers responsibility to pay. If you are on the wait list we will not collect a deposit until there is a kitten available to you.
Reservation Fee (deposits) are non-refundable so make sure you are positive you really want the kitten you choose. If you have any second guesses or doubts about purchasing a kitten, my advice to you is to wait. Purchasing any kitten but especially a Maine Coon kitten, is a HUGE decision and should not be taken lightly. You are committing to provide a kitten with a loving, healthy forever home. Please make sure that you are ready for the responsibility of owning and caring for one of my beautiful babies.
I keep my kittens until they are 10-12 weeks old depending on how they’re eating and how well they are developing. We evaluate each kitten individually for readiness, as no two kittens are the same. Sometimes kittens may be ready at 10 weeks at the absolute earliest and sometimes they need a little longer with their mom. It is my soul discretion as to when I feel my kitten is ready to go to their new forever home, it is based on how they are maturing and after the vet examination has been completed.
We only allow people into our home for pick ups only, no visits are permitted. This policy is to help cut down on the risk of diseases like feline herpes, calicivirus and coronavirus being accidently carried into our home and cattery. Anyone of those viruses could be devastatingly deadly to a litter of small kittens, and make our grown cats very ill. I send lots of updates on kittens to their prospective owners, and am more than happy to schedule video chats as well!
The remaining balance for your kitten is due at the time of pickup if you’re meeting in person or two weeks prior if your baby is going to be delivered to you. We do NOT accept checks for the balance you must bring cash or electronic payment in the form of an invoice for the remaining balance. If you chose to pay electronically all the associated fees are the buyers responsibility.
When buying a kitten from us you’re agreeing to provide your kitten with regular vaccinations, vet check-ups and proper Healthcare. You are agreeing to provide a clean humane environment with food, clean water, and lots of attention. My kittens are not to be caged, neglected, or left outside.
I reserve the right to cancel or refuse a sale of any kitten, anytime up until the time of delivery, for any reason if I feel it is not in the best interest of my kitten.
If you are unable to pick up your kitten in person we can help facilitate an in-cabin courier. None of our kittens will be shipped in cargo. The stress and risk to their mental and physical health is too high. The Couriers pricing will very depending on the delivery location but you can expect to spend somewhere between $700-$1300. You can get a quote for your location to see if it is a viable option for you($25 roughly per quote). We are also willing to drive up to 50 miles for $100 dollars charge or 100 miles away for a $200 dollar charge. If you’re planning on picking up your kitten, we would love to meet you in person! We can schedule a date and time for pick up or we can meet you at the airport if your flying in from out-of state. If your planning on picking up from our home we do ask that you are respectful in our space, because it isn’t just a cattery it is a home.
